| Opportunity for an experienced database admin/data cleansing technician to work for a well renowned Insurance company walking distance from Fenchurch Street Station.
To assist with an ongoing project the company are seeking candidates ideally with prior data cleansing/database admin experience ideally within an Insurance/Re-insurance company (and therefore know the insurance jargon) but essentially with excellent database skills. Duties include working in a team to ensure the data held on the mainframe system (IRIS) is accurate and up to date and to cleanse/correct data as appropriate. Recording of accurate data and providing proof of corrections, assisting with the project and reporting to relevant people on the status of the project. Liaising with the brokers and internal staff to obtain missing information and documentation as necessary. Candidates must have excellent attention to detail and a methodical and accurate approach to their work. Ideally basic knowledge and understanding of insurance / re-insurance and related documentation. An understanding of IRIS would be preferable together with good organisational skills and Word and Excel. Candidates must be available maximum of 2 weeks notice as the role is intially a contract for the roll out of the project till 31st December *****and the company are looking to recruit ASAP.
