| JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: ***** Monitoring Resource Manager Accountable to: *****Monitoring Manager Job Purpose: To be responsible for the maintenance and strategic enhancement of delivery and audibility of customers' programme requirements via efficient use of monitoring resources. To advise on delivery options for new or changed requirements for all customers. Key Result Areas and# *****; To ensure customers requirements meet audibility levels required. Specifically: - Ensure customersan’ requirements are monitored within the wanted service area on a regular basis. - Implement changes to improve audibility of any programme not achieving required audibility level. - Undertake trips abroad to investigate audibility problems when necessary. - Produce a monthly report on audibility for customers as required and# *****; To provide advice on how to meet customer requirements for programme delivery Specifically: - Work closely with Customer Services and SandM providing advice on meeting customers requirements - Work closely with Scheduling and Frequency Managers to ensure changes are incorporated as required. - Provide advice to outside customer as required and# *****; To maintain content of databases and archives concerned with transmission facilities and regulatory procedures. Essential Qualifications/Experience an• Qualifications to HNC/HND level or equivalent an• An interest in broadcasting, telecommunications and current affairs an• Good knowledge of Office 97 Components: (Excel, Access, Word), IT literate with knowledge of computer databases an• Good knowledge of Geography an• Good written and verbal communication skills an• 1-2 years experience of programme delivery or related skill an• 1 years experience of data analysis, data manipulation and report writing. Desirable Qualifications/Experience an• Understanding of the international frequency management process an• Knowledge of LF/MF, HF and VHF propagation |
