| To be responsible for setting up and maintaining all administrative aspects of the Surestart Programme and provide an efficient and effective support service to the team, covering a full range of secretarial and administrative duties.1. To assist and support the Surestart programme manager in the day-to-day administration and control of the Surestart programme in association with the range of agencies involved. The activities covered by the Surestart umbrella will be, by necessity, broad in their nature.
2. To assist the Surestart programme manager in the financial management of the programme. To liase and provide support and guidance to internal and external customers. 3. In the absence of the Surestart manager, to take appropriate action to resolve urgent and outstanding matters after obtaining suitable guidance and delegated authority. 4. To be responsible for reception duties including greeting clients and visitors, answering telephone calls, handling fax messages, photocopying and recording receipt of goods and ad-hoc deliveries. 5. To Facilitate Surestart board team meetings. This would include compiling agenda’s, distributing relevant papers, booking venues, booking refreshments, setting up the rooms, providing relevant documents and taking minutes. |
