Working for this leading Statelite broadcasting / Media organisation, they are seeking a graduate calibre individual with good Excel, Access and Visual Basic.

Job Purpose:

To provide support to Manager SFM for day to day running of SFM and to provide support to the rest of the SFM team. To produce regular statistical reports and to develop additional reports as requested by Manager SFM.

Key Result Areas
an• To prepare reports from various databases using MS Office tools
Specifically Using Microsoft Visual Basic
an• Provide support to rest of SFM during periods of high workload.
Specifically Prepare and check operational schedule amendments
Deal with simple changes to GDS using PRISM
an• To deal with and manage administration of publicity information.
Specifically Liase with BBC Publicity Departments
Assist SFM Regional Team with preparation of publicity information
Distribute publicity information to all recipients.
an• To log incoming job requests and monitor their progress.
Specifically On receipt of a new job sheet, log details in database
Provide feedback to originator on job progress
Monitor progress and highlight tasks approaching their deadline
an• To assist the Frequency Manager SFM.
Specifically Deal with frequency submissions under Article S12
Maintain Frequency history and Frequency Clearance records
Prepare and distribute regular update of frequency changes

an• To provide some administrative support for the SFM team.

Essential Qualifications/Experience
an‘Oan’ level/GCSE in English and an‘Aan’ level in Mathematics
Good understanding of Excel, Word, Access, Visual Basic and Microsoft Windows software
Good knowledge of Geography
1 year experience of routine administration and data manipulation
Good written and verbal communication skills
