Administration - Administrator with Typing

in London City


The Administration Unit are seeking a WP/Administration Assistant to work within the Admin Team assisting with the administration of the organisations work.The successful candidate will need to be flexible, efficient, and friendly with a good sense of humour.

The candidate would need to exhibit the following skills:

- Experience in Audio and copy typing - speed at least - 50wpm
- Excellent telephone manner
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent keyboard skills (including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access)
- Flexibility and high level of efficiency

KEY OBJECTIVES


1.Provide Word Processing and Administrative Support to the Management Group as directed.

2.Word processing through audio and copy typing of correspondence, reports, memos, papers etc. and keeping appropriate records. Inputting and retrieval of information on spreadsheets and databases as directed.

3.Maintain the department's filing system.

4.Undertake all administrative duties as directed within the department.

5.Assist with processing of applications for registration with the EHRB.

6.Assist with the administration of the APC scheme.

7.Assist with maintenance of databases.

8.Assist with the development and maintenance of documented systems and procedures in respect of the work of the unit.

9.Respond to telephone enquiries, correspondence and requests for information.

10.Maintain a log of, and distribute incoming post.

11.Maintain, as directed, office diaries and distribute movement sheets

12.Book hotel accommodation and assist in the organisation of travel arrangements as directed.

13.Maintain and order stationery as required.

14.Undertake any other duties as directed in furtherance of the objects of the organisation

· Good standard of education.
· IT skills - word, excel and database are essential.
· Good administrative skills, including excellent keyboard skills.

· Evidence of good organisational abilities
