ESSENTIAL BEFORE APPLYING;
1-2 Years solid Admin skills
Keyboard skill
5 GCSES Maths & English / ideally educated to A level standard, or with administration based NVQ.
Literate in the use of Word, Excel

Recruitment Administrator
In the UK this firm recruits in the region of 600-700 graduates nationally per annum. They recruit graduates into a wide variety of roles including accountants, tax consultants, actuaries and business consultants. Approximately two thirds of our intake join Assurance & Advisory to train as Chartered Accountants and the remaining third pursue alternative professional qualifications such as ATT, Financial Planning Certificate and actuarial exams amongst others.

The Graduate Recruitment Admin team work alongside and support a team of experienced Graduate Recruiters. The role of the Recruitment Administrator is to work alongside the Recruitment Co-ordinators and administrator and provide support to the rest of the team, carrying out specific roles as set out below. At certain times of year it is a highly pressurised and challenging environment.
Telephone
Scheduling interviews/test sessions to suit interviewers and interviewees quickly, which often involves persuading interviewers to give up valuable client time
Telephoning interviewers to book interview slots on a needs basis for own service lines
Face to face with potential recruits and staff
Presenting a positive impression of the firm at all times, dealing with nervous graduates
Helping to run the Recruitment Suite, dealing with queries from internal staff and partners, escorting candidates to and from the reception
Conducting psychometric test and e-tray/2nd interview day sessions
Partner contact
Booking interview times
Chasing partners for interview notes and offer letters
Scholarship programme
Responsibility for various aspects of the Scholarship programme; includes correspondence with scholars, organising work placements, managing bursary payments, dealing with queries etc
Final Assessment Days
On a weekly/fortnightly basis, running the FAD days, including administering e-tray, ensuring candidates are in the right place at the right time for interviews
International Scheme
Administration for this scheme involves booking interviews, correspondence with candidates and managing the ‘flow’ of applicants from each country on the scheme.

New Joiners
Overseeing the new joiners process (for all service lines). Includes ensuring all relevant paperwork is on candidate files, ordering materials, co-ordinating the timely distribution of materials.University
Liaison with various individuals at Oxford University (under a managers guidance) to help organise a variety of events at the university during term time.
