| This is a well established, medium sized city firm with an International network of about 90 member firms in 26 countries throughout the world. Working in the Executive office you will be assisting the Executive Director with the overall administration of the International Organisation. The duties can be divided into five areas. 1) The organisation of conferences, annual and regional meetings worldwide. This is done by the Executive Office in co-operation with the member company in the host country. Each meeting has 4 main elements - the meeting program, hotel arrangements, overall administration, the social program. 2) Website and Intranet. You will be expected to learn to use the organisations intranet publishing systeems. Keep the Website up to date, adding and purging the contents as necessary. 3) Publications. Collect information from members to include in the Newsletters and other publications. Update the external and internal directories. Liaise with design and print services. Maintain statistics for all publishing costs and revenues. 4) General Administration. Provide information to members. Admin support for working groups. Prepare information packs for new and potential member companies. Organise telephone conferences. 5)Financial administration. Prepare and issue invoices. Pursue overdue debts. Collate data on referals from one member to another. You will need to be intelligent, literate and numerate. You should have strong administrative and organisational ability. You must be a good communicator with diplomacy and tact. Your previous experience should include working in an international association of professional services. working in an highly automated environment. This job will involve a limited amount of overseas travel which you should be available to do. |
