| Working in a lively corporate Law Firm walking distance from Chancery Lane as a new addition to their professional Librarian team. The ideal candidate will have recently gained their Librarian qualifications and be well presented and looking for their first position within this area.
General Information: &# *****; Working in a team of seven within the Library of a medium sized law firm. &# *****; The staff currently consists of the Librarian, Three Assistant Librarians, a Library Assistant and a Pre-Library School Trainee. &# *****; This is a newly created post of Junior Assistant Librarian would suit a candidate who has recently graduated from Library School and who is looking for their first posting. Tasks: There will be a variety of tasks which will include: &# *****; Dealing with a wide range of inquiries and assisting users with research &# *****; Searching of various on-line and electronic databases including Lexis Reuters Perfect Information and the Internet &# *****; Recording and circulation of serials &# *****; Filing looseleafs &# *****; Ordering publications and obtaining articles and law reports &# *****; Cataloguing and processing of new publications &# *****; Binding and withdrawing of out of date material &# *****; Filing Journals and dealing with distribution of duplicates.
