JOB OPPORTUNITY Our client has a vacancy for a Purchasing Assistant within the Purchasing Department based at Blackfriars. The main duties of this position are as follows: To efficiently oversee the administration of all purchase orders which includes; To produce weekly and monthly reports To check invoices and prepare invoices for payment, which includes compiling of a monthly payment schedule. To input & maintain all contract & fleet list details on an in-house database To raise release instructions for the delivery of all new goods To update and maintain all dispatch and payment records To collate all contractually required documentation for Dry Freight, Dry Freight specials and Refrigerated deliveries. Applicants must be educated to GCSE / O' Level standard which includes Maths & English. Applicants must have minimum of 1 years administration experience. Must have good organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Must have the ability to communicate at different levels of seniority as well the ability to work as part of a team. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word & Excel basic to intermediate level. ***** |
