| MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: To provide administrative support to the Open Course Administrator as a member of Training support team
BACKGROUND TO THE COMPANY: Professional Finance Company based in Kensington. There are currently 9 support staff, all based in London, and 12 trainers who are based in the UK and abroad. We offer both open (courses available to public subscription) and in-house courses; in *****we are planning to hold approximately *****open courses, mainly in London, New York and Asia. Primary Responsibilities ·Course venues: Finding and booking suitable training venues for open courses. Liaising with trainers and the venue to ensure that the venue is informed of the needs for each programme ·Marketing materials: Co-ordinating the publication of hard-copy "flyers" (promotional literature) and arranging for these to be distributed at conferences and other events. ·Marketing support: co-ordinating our e mail marketing effort using Training and other databases ·Credit Control: Issuing and chasing invoices issued to participants on open courses. · General administrative duties: supporting and helping other members of the support team as required PERSON SPECIFICATION Candidate Competencies ·This is not a junior role; the candidate needs excellent organisational skills and time management skills and the maturity to cope with a busy and sometimes, pressurised work environment. ·An outgoing personality ·Experience working in a bury office ·An ability to juggle a number of different tasks at any one time ·Team skills - a willingness to help other members of the team as the need arises. Required Skills ·Good level of general education (minimum 5 good O/GCSE levels) ·Knowledge of Microsoft Office ·Knowledge of databases would be an advantage REPORTING TO: Office Manager HOURS: Flexible: approximately 16 hours a week LOCATION: Kensington. |
