£17,800 + Excellent Benefits *Working as part ot the Accounts Division.- circa 50 Staff. · Processing invoices to CODA (Accounting System), batching,coding and allocation. · Allocation of costs to general ledger-specifially responsible for the Company account. ·Production and control of payments (BACS, Cheques, Telex) on a weekly and monthly basis. Liaison with departments to achieve sign-off and approval for payments ·Reconciliation of Creditors Statements on a monthly basis and weekly if required. Spreadsheet maintenance, accruing financial Data to supply to the Financial Accountant and Management Accounts Team. ·Liaison with creditors by telephone and letter and advising of payment details and timings. ·Filing of aged Ledger Documentation on an Ad hoc basis and as required. Applicants MUST BE educated to GCSE / O Level standard which includes Maths & English. They must have minimum of one year's experience of working within an accounting environment, with proven bought ledger skills. They must also have good communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. *After a probation period the client is prepared to offer a Study package to pursue Professional Accounting Qualifications - AAT, ACCA, CIMA. 20 days holiday rises to 25.
