| Job Title: *****Input/Filing Clerk
Reports To: Manager - Accounts Payable Duties: (the aim of this list of duties is to provide an indication only, it is by no means exhaustive). · Distributing post · Actioning Accounts Payable post as necessary (date-stamping/sending out for authorisation etc) · Coding of employee expense claims and straightforward invoices · Inputting invoices · Checking input · Preparing and carrying out cheque runs/bacs runs · Sending out cheques · Dealing with basic supplier and internal queries · Filing · Inputting journals · Ad-hoc duties as required · Training provided as required PERSON SPECIFICATION Special aptitudes and Disposition * Minimum of 6 months Input experience * 5 GCSEs including English Language and Maths * Must demonstrate that can work under pressure and strict deadlines * Accurate with good attention to details * Self starter with initiative and confidence to liaise at all levels * Must be prepared to take responsibility for own tasks * Communication skills - both oral and written * Confident manner * Ability to work without close supervision * Maturity/flexibility System Skills * 10,000 kph inputting speed * Good PC skills are a prerequisite * Microsoft word SALARY AND BENEFITS * Salary: £16-17K On joining 22 working days holiday per annum Long Term Disability Insurance Life Assurance After probation (6 months) Interest free loan for Season Ticket Corporate membership with Holmes Place or gym subsidy Medical Aid 10% non-contributory pension scheme |
