Large international Managment group

The essential skills before applying;
Experience working within a large corporate environment - ideally investment banking.
Secretarial skills - including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and keyboard ability.
Corporate client admin related experience
Solid work history.

To provide administrative support to two large investment banking groups client service team, build relationships with external and internal client contacts and assist with the audit process.
Two distinct clients, with completely separate client service teams. However, the role and responsibilities set out below are identical with respect to both clients. It is anticipated that the role will be split approx. 50:50
This job involves a high degree of organisational, communicative, financial and administrative skills and you will be required to plan and organise your own workload to fulfill the varied aspects of the role.
Administrative/secretarial support
research Clients business activities and produce a weekly summary of the client in the news (using the internet, Factiva etc)
analyse and monitor and arrange provisioning and fee billings
attend meetings and maintain minutes
participate in considering ways of improving service delivery and/or profitability
assist in preparing presentations for clients
draft own correspondence and prepare drafts for manager/partner
maintain job codes
organise social events for client staff
assist audit team in monitoring reporting from other UK and overseas teams organise travel arrangements as required
(2) Management of the UK relationship

meet with other members of the UK account team to understand what activities are being undertaken - attend meetings of the teams
develop the UK fee budget, liaising with partners/managers as necessary
monitor reports and question anomalous/unusual results compared to budget
ensure contact lists and publication distribution lists are maintained up to date
(3) Management of the European / global account relationship

act as the secretary for the management account team and attend meetings/keep minutes
arrange meetings both in UK and overseas (liaising with the relevant offices) for the management team
liaise with partners and managers across the world and build an effective communications process.

Handle requests for information from the client, contribute ideas for improving the account management process and development of opportunities
organising social events for senior client staff
(4) General
organise the filing system (both hard copy and electronic) to support the above
maintain stationary stocks at client premises
control client site security passes
The Person
Experience in a client service support role, preferably on a global basis working for multiple individuals.
Strong financial skills, knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Data handling skills.
