Administration - Conference Administrator

in London West End

You will need to be a good communicator, a problem solver and the type of person who gets things done. Computer packages: Word, Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint. Typing 50wpm. You will be organising and carrying out the administration for 3 conferences a year. These can be anywhere in the UK. You will be researching and booking venues. Consulting all departments to acertain their requirements, issuing invites, preparing guest lists, conferring with speakers and other presenters, liaising with the venue to arrange catering and other facilities. You will also be assisting the company secretary to arrange the AGM and cocktail party. On an ongoing basis you will be co-ordingating the internal Group Meetings, booking meeting rooms and overseeing the arrangements, collating information for attendees, sending out agendas and being on hand if needed to ensure the smooth running of the meeting and to welcome guests. You should be flexible, able to prioritise workloads and be able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative.
