| Our clients is a leading Market research organisation and is looking for a data integrity manager.
Job purpose The management of / provision of expert advice on; the selection, design, justification, implementation and operation of information security controls and management strategies to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability and relevant compliance of information within our client in line with ISO *****. Basically - looking at current /future systems and making improvement whilst ensuring compliance at all times You will liaise with: All staff, interviewers, contractors, clients and suppliers. Relevant user groups, including BCS ISSG. ISO *****accreditation partner, Information Commissioner’s office, Market Research Society and other relevant regulatory bodies. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABLITIES • To act as deputy to the Head of Compliance & Information Security with regard to Information Security. • To provide advice and guidance on establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring and improvement of the Information Security Management System within Client • To carry out information security risk assessments on assets and third parties within the scope of the Information Security Management System. • To provide internal audit services of the Information Security Management System, and to assist with information security audits of relevant third parties (second party audits). • Assist with the provision of advice, guidance and monitoring of “data processors” acting on behalf of Client with regard to compliance with Information Security requirements. • To provide specialist information security input as part of the relevant project team for both client facing and internal projects. • To investigate, and report on, information security incidents affecting the Information Security Management System. • To act as a counter-signatory for Client for Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) disclosures. • To assist with the provision of advice in relation to compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, and Client policies, procedure and practices in relation to ensuring the reliability and suitability of staff, workers and contractors in relation to background, credit and Criminal Records checks. • Assist with the provision of advice and guidance on all Data Protection, privacy and other related legislative and regulatory obligations within Client. • Assist with the provision of detailed advice and guidance on Market Research Society, and other relevant industry Code of practice regulatory and best practice requirements. • Assist with the development, preparation and delivery of training in compliance to Client. • Assist with the provision of specialist input and advice on ensuring compliance by data processors acting on behalf of Client. • Assist with the provision of specialist input and advice on compliance issues with studies to clients as requested by research teams and/or direct contact from clients, keeping relevant research staff informed. • Acting as a counter-signatory for CRB disclosure applications. Additional Information • The successful applicant will need to be willing to take on this role, and so the job offer may be subject to the CRB accepting the applicant as a suitable counter-signatory. This application requires the applicant to sign an application form for the CRB • the applicant will need to have strong experience in implementing and managing Information Security to ISO *****/ISO *****. • Qualifications such as ISEB Certificate in Information Security Management Principles, ISO *****and Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor or similar qualifications would be an advantage. • Other qualifications/relevant training the candidate may have include training in implementing information security, the Open University post graduate short course in information security or other relevant academic study, Certificate in Information Security Management etc. Please apply with a covering letter stating your suitability for this role.
