An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Sales Administrator who will report into the Head of Global Customer Services and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the sales administration function in Ovum. The main activities for this role will be: - *****; To supervise the work of the Sales Administrator and to provide encouragement, coaching and practical assistance (includes conducting the appraisal of the Sales Administrator). *****; To ensure that the Sales Administrator is given clear objectives and regular, constructive feedback on their performance. *****; To regularly review and improve on existing processes. *****; To handle, both telephone and written queries from internal and external customers. *****; To resolve all complaints to the highest possible standard and in accordance with company policy and procedures. *****; To provide company, product and business account related information to all legitimate enquirers. *****; To ensure that all sales orders are processed and followed up in a timely manner, in line with the sales order process. *****; To produce, advanced Sales performance statistics and analysis in response to adhoc requests, using excel and the CRM reporting tool. *****; To update and maintain the Client Relationship System (CRM). *****; To manage the production and distribution of sales collateral. *****; Liase with Research Analysts to organise sales briefings and co-ordinate on timely completion of support collateral. *****; To manage the renewal processes and alert Account Managers when follow up action is required. *****; To provide general support to the Sales Team – I.e. organising meetings, maintaining staff records etc. *****; To undertake other activities as required by the Head of Global Customer Services The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year’s managerial experience in an administration support environment and be educated to degree level. The successful candidate will be highly organised, with good attention to detail you will need the ability to work under pressure and have an excellent telephone manner plus advanced Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. It would also be desirable for experience of Sales Logix and Crystal reporting skills. In return, Ovum offers comprehensive ongoing training and a professional, yet informal working environment.
