| The Domestic Clearing & Settlement area is a key part of Securities Operations and is responsible for the efficient settlement of equities. The role is within a team of 4, responsible for effective interaction with domestic settlement agents, ensuring trade instructions are presented accurately and within strict instruction deadlines.
The role also involves the pre-matching of executed trades to ensure timely settlement and resolving potential settlement issues prior to trade settlement. To be considered for this role you must possess the ability to establish a plan of action when prioritising daily tasks, and be aware of when to escalate to the relevant party in the event of failure/anticipated failure to meet deadlines. The specific role is within a team that covers Central European Settlements - including the Swiss, German and Austrian markets for equities, and works closely with the Euronext team. You will be responsible for a selection of markets with the view to providing cover for all markets on the team, thus previous exposure to these would prove a definite advantage to candidates applying. In order to be considered for this position you will be a graduate or have displayed strong A-level results (min 3 C's), and ideally have worked in the investment-banking field previously. |
