| The Domestic Clearing & Settlement area is a key part of Securities Operations and is responsible for the efficient settlement of equities.
The role is within a team of 6, responsible for effective interaction with domestic settlement agents, ensuring trade instructions are presented accurately and within strict instruction deadlines. The role also involves the pre-matching of executed trades to ensure timely settlement and resolving potential settlement issues prior to trade settlement. The successful candidate will have responsibility for: Client query resolution, ensuring trade instructions are presented accurately and within strict instruction deadlines, settlement of all transactions, reconciliation of cash exceptions, prioritisation of open trades with risk to the bank and the agreeing of open trades with counterparties and clients in order to minimise risk. The specific role is within a team that covers Spanish, Turkish, Italian and Greek markets for equities. The candidate will be responsible for a selection of markets with the view to providing cover for all markets on the team, thus previous exposure to these would prove a definite advantage to candidates applying. In order to be considered for this position you will be a graduate or have displayed strong A-level results (min 3 C's), and ideally have worked in the investment-banking field previously. |
