| This position is responsible for a team of up to 12 staff and will involve coordinating day to day activities, ensuring large deals are verified, resolving problems, communicating business decisions to the team, representing the company in internal and external meetings, undertaking delegated project work, escalating issues where appropriate, putting forward ideas for improvement, taking responsibility for own and team development, maintaining a productive and enjoyable working environment, providing guidance to team members concerning career development, managing reward and recognition schemes, coordinating and facilitating team meetings, managing team productivity, completing monthly reports, planning and facilitating training sessions, planning and performing appraisals, identifying training requirements and managing poor performance.
Applicants must be business aware and customer focused, be a self starter, be able to use your own initiative, be flexible and adaptable, be able to prioritise and organise. Applicants must also have excellent written and verbal skills, be an effective decision maker, be able to work as part of a team, be able to demonstrate commitment to customer service, have good IT skills and have experience of working in a fast moving environment. Applicants should have passed the Investment Advice Certificate Paper 1 or be prepared to study for it. Some experience of managing and developing a team would be preferable. |
