Abu Dhabi c£50,000 - £75,000 (Tax Free) + Relocation Assistance Our client has over 70 years experience of supplying specialist chemicals to the construction industry. Concentrating on innovation and service to the customer, they have a worldwide presence in more than 20 countries and export to a further 50 countries. They currently have a unique chance for a Financial Business Analyst to join them and work in their Abu Dhabi offices. This is a fantastic opportunity to relocate and benefit from tax-free earnings. Our client will pay for the successful applicant’s flights and first month’s accommodation, and they will also qualify for housing allowance. The Financial Business Analyst will support the Direction team and will be responsible for radically enhancing the company’s business plan quality to deliver its financial objectives. This role will require you to learn the company’s group businesses and eventually manage a group subsidiary within 24 months. As the Financial Business Analyst you will be responsible for: - researching and analysing specific country and market segment data - transferring market data into Business Plan format - deriving functions’ plans and with market data, identifying capability gaps and creating plans You will also review and report macro economic and financial data and trends, competitor activities, key customer activities, and remedial actions on variances from the plans. This position will also require you to review operating company capital expenditure projects which are less than $50,000; and undertake other projects as identified by the Chief of Staff. To succeed as a Financial Business Analyst you will have experience within a financial or business analysis role, and a professional accountancy qualification or MBA. Proficient in using Microsoft Office and planning software, you must be able to plan in a business to business environment, and be conversant with financial modelling and valuation techniques. Highly numerate and with excellent presentation skills, as the Financial Business Analyst you must have exceptional English language oral and writing skills, as well as the ability to focus and deliver within strict deadlines. It would be beneficial to our client if you have a degree (or equivalent) in Economics or in either Chemical or Civil Engineering; as would an understanding of the financial markets and tax systems.
