Job Title: Senior Database Management Clerk
Roles Reporting to this Position:

Purpose of Role:
To support all of the daily responsibilities undertaken by the Database Management Group ensuring a complete understanding of the systems, workflow and data used by DBM in the completion of the duties ensuring the work is completed in order of priority.

Open/amend IBS accounts as required, including audit, enhancement of data and to adhere to specific Client requirements.
Open/update standard payment instructions as received from Middle Office and other GTR London Business units.
Ensure FTOP procedures have been applied to relevant static data maintenance requests i.e. account opening/amendment requests, SSI¡¦s
Ensure full sets of SSI¡¦s are obtained for Clients where they are not in place and to ensure this information is accurately recorded to the IBS Treasury system.
Maintaining weekly interest rate changes on the IBS Treasury System
Ensuring Client¡¦s non-standard rate requirements are adhered to.
Responsible for reviewing/checking work prepared/processed by other members of the DBM team.
Review all incoming SWIFT communications received by DBM and to take the appropriate actions i.e. diarise or action immediately
Contribute to the creation/writing of detailed DBM ¡§desk¡¨ procedures for all tasks undertaken by the department.
Recommend/implement operational solutions to permanently resolve issues or to improve current workflow.
Responsible for the daily monitoring of the DBM diary and ¡§mailbox¡¨ and for ensuring actionable tasks are completed by close of business.
Responsible for completing quarterly audit tasks e.g. MCH/IBS account reconciliation, distribution of Clients Non Standard rate information to the Custody Fund group responsible for managing the relationship.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Specific Qualifications/Skills: „h Experience using MS Office packages in particularly, Access (advanced), Word and Excel.
Level of Education: „h Educated to O Level standard or equivalent
Previous Level of Experience:
3 ¡V 5 years experience working within Treasury Operations
Experience within a data integrity and/or data management environment (e.g. responsible for the administration and maintenance of static data held within core treasury systems)
Thorough working knowledge of FX and MM settlements
Previous experience within a senior clerical position or supervising in a data control area
A custodial background is also desirable
Skills - interpersonal, numerical, problem-solving, analytical, etc „h Good communications skills
Good time management skills with the ability to achieve time critical deadlines
Management skills are desirable
Ability to work with large amounts of data
Disposition - motivation, team skills, ability to work under pressure, etc Team Player
Excellent attention to detail
Self motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
