| Job Title: Senior Trade Processing Clerk
Purpose of Role: Trade Processing are responsible for ensuring that all multicurrency payment and receipt messages are processed in an accurate and timely manner. Specific Duties: Specific duties will include: Settlement of all third party, custody, Foreign Exchange and Money Market transactions. To action cancellation and amendment requests relating to these transactions. To monitor the money transfer queues adhering to cash processing deadlines. To monitor and administer the risk control queues. To agree daily net obligations with third payment clients and investment mangers. To verify work produced by other team members. To liaise with the middle office and the dealing desk to resolve issues that arise. To liaise with confirmations and investigations to resolve pre and post settlement issue that may arise. To ensure that all processing issues are escalated to the manager. ***** PERSON SPECIFICATION Skills: You will have a: - Thorough working knowledge of foreign exchange and money market settlements. Good understanding of swift message types, specifically relating to FX and MM settlements. In-depth knowledge of the departments and responsibilities throughout Operations. Good communication skills. Be able to work under pressure and with high volumes, and able to work within specific time constraints. Be self-motivated and willing to challenge the status quo. Level of Education: Educated to A level standard or equivalent Previous Level of Experience: You will have a minimum of 3 years experience within Operations and experience within a payment environment Supervisory experience is an advantage. ***** ***** |
