KEY RESULT AREAS „P To create, maintain, monitor and amend all tender/contract cost models „P To provide monthly gap analysis on contracts and their cost models „P To create and maintain all bid and tender hard files „P To manage and maintain electronic cost model files Skills KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED „P A proven track record of analytical skills „P Advanced use of Microsoft Excel „P Experience in using Lotus Notes and Microsoft Word „P A good working knowledge of the industry „P Numerate, accurate with good attention to detail „P Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to administer and track numerous parallel tasks „P Ability to communicate at all levels „P Good interpersonal and customer service skills COMMUNICATIONS AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Internal This position will require strong working relationships with all Senior Account Managers to ensure cost models are accurately created in line with solutions produced. There will also be strong liaisons with the Finance Manager in gaining information for cost model analysis. External This post will not generally be subject to face-to-face client contact, but on occasion the role holder will be required to visit sites to clarify the content of the cost model, at which point client contact is possible. SCOPE FOR IMPACT The Senior Account Manager(s) will hold ultimate responsibility for the content of the cost model, however, the role holder will be held responsible for inputting all information provided by the Senior Account Manager(s) into the cost model and providing accurate costings. The role holder will also be required to provide analysis between the cost model and contract performance on identified problem areas. |
