North West London NW10 Up to £29,000 Our client is one of the world’s leading suppliers of recycled printer cartridges to major retailers in the UK and across Europe. They are currently looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, as the Credit Controller you will take responsibility for the debtor book, and ensure the timely payment of debts and resolve customer queries. As the Credit Controller you will: - set up customer accounts - follow a methodical and effective system to chase debts - post and allocate remittances from both UK and foreign customers - deal with customer queries and ensure adequate communication - raise credit notes - assess and regularly review credit limits - regularly review contra accounts i.e. debtors that are also creditors, in order to balance the two - undertake reporting requirements as necessary for the role With your experience of credit control and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, as the Credit Controller you will have good keyboard skills and computer literacy, with an excellent working knowledge of Excel. It would be highly desirable if you possess knowledge of SAP Business One and Sage Line 50. This position would suit an analytical thinking and accurate applicant with experience of credit control, who is able to use their initiative and is self motivated. Taking a thorough and accurate approach to your work, you must have good interpersonal skills, be an excellent problem solver, and have a flair for communicating at all levels.
