Investment Banking experience essential JOB SPECIFICATION Job Title: Data Control Administrator Location: Canary Wharf Reporting to: Supervisor, Data Control Roles Reporting to this Position: None Purpose of Role: You will be providing assistance in the completion of Data Control duties ensuring the database is maintained within relevant timeframes to allow the business to use the system effectively. Specific Duties: Assist in all aspects of database maintenance to include pricing, asset, client records and other tasks as required. This includes investigating & providing manual pricing for unquoted securities using external data providers ie: brokers or other valid sources. Set up & maintain data for all Instrument types and portfolio¡¦s Produce and supply accurate and timely data to external parties in accordance with procedures. Adhere to Client and Internal reportage deadlines under IMRO regulations. Assist in providing statistics for compilation to Key Performance Indicators for the department. Active involvement in the implementation of new processes and the improvement of existing ones. PERSON SPECIFICATION Specific Qualifications/Skills: „h Investment management knowledge Use of data vendors is desirable. Computer literate Level of Education: „h Educated to O¡¦ level standard or equivalent in Mathematics and English Previous Level of Experience: „h Previous experience using Paladign and Preview is desirable Skills - interpersonal, numerical, problem-solving, analytical, etc „h Good interpersonal skills. Good problem solver. Good communication skills Good numeracy skills. Disposition - motivation, team skills, ability to work under pressure, etc „h Self -motivated Good team player Good attention to details skills while working to strict deadlines |
