INTERNATIONAL CAPITAL MARKETS About the company: One of the leading providers of financial information to the international investment community, our client collects, edits, maintains, and delivers data on over 3.5 million securities, commodities, and derivative instruments traded around the world specialising in "hard-to-value" unlisted fixed income instruments and "hard-to-get" information from emerging markets. About the role: Reporting to the Senior Pricing Analyst, you will work with and give full support to the pricing teams. You will develop knowledge of the financial markets, security evaluation and modelling, as well as gain a strong understanding of the proprietary models and IT systems, with a view to taking full responsibility for covering individual markets. Other elements of this exciting opportunity include: &# *****; Pricing and evaluation of individual fixed income securities using proprietary pricing models. &# *****; Credit spread research and monitoring of fixed income markets. &# *****; Monitoring and analysis of Macro and Micro economic fundamental news. &# *****; Day to day maintenance of proprietary evaluation models. &# *****; Price and data research, sourcing, dissemination and analysis. &# *****; Production and maintenance of daily new issue spreadsheets and daily market briefings. &# *****; Ad-hoc research projects. You will be given full training and will also receive the necessary external training - where and when required - to pass IMRO regulatory exams. About you: Having a good first degree in a financial/economic discipline you will be numerate, articulate and methodical with a keen interest in the financial markets. You will have had some office experience and be PC literate, particularly in MS Excel. Whilst you are a team player, you are capable of working unsupervised, taking the initiative and seeking innovative solutions. You will have an awareness of and a genuine interest in current affairs.
