You will be responsible for overseeing 20 support staff and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department. Previous Investment Banking ESSENTIAL and previous Office Management experience.
Role Overview: * Office management * Manager to approximately 20 support staff * Management Information * Tracking, analysis and reporting * Special projects & new initiatives * Involved in wide range of departmental and cross-Equities projects and initiatives * Coordination of leavers, joiners and office moves * Liaison with functional groups around the firm * BCP, Facilities, T&E, Reprographics * Meeting coordination * Data and Subscriptions database * Contract negotiation * Training in T&E Policy / approvals, policing and adherence Manager to approximately 20 support staff including responsibility for: * Hiring & retention * Compensation * Conflict resolution * Mentoring, training and career development. Management Information * Preliminary approver for data/subscriptions/new technologies * Back up approver to budget manager * Approver for technology spend & negotiation of contracts * T&E and budget tracking and reporting * Headcount tracking and reporting * Regular reporting to management and team heads * Experience in managing junior support staff preferred. Person Specification: * Previous and proven successful management record. * Excellent negotiation skills. * Delegation & motivation skills. * Strong business acumen. * Analytical |
