Large international Financial group; require the following: Please only apply if you have the experience required. The candidate will have a financial markets background spanning over 5 years. May have worked within an Investment Bank, involved in actives such as; project management, securities database management, or in a data delivery environment. Understand securities data: experience in Equities, Fixed Income, (Derivatives not as useful), be able to demonstrate project management experience at interview Our client is responsible for the collection maintenance and distribution of International financial data used in products marketed within the financial sector. Summary of primary role: The Project Manager will manage a portfolio of projects consisting of individual Market Group projects to meet their specific needs for securities data and generic projects to meet overall Market Group needs. The successful applicant will need strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task between projects as well as to liase with multiple Departments to drive these projects forward. Strong organisational skills will be paramount as there will be a constant flow of projects, some with fixed deadlines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Management /Coordination Project Management ad coordination of projects/request to: Supply data feeds to meet Market Group requirements Supply one off data down loads or data extracts to meet Market Group requirements Develop generic solutions to meet multiple Market Group needs Supply information on data coverage 2. Relationship Management Ensure that customers are kept up to date with current progress Manage customer expectations Look for synergies between requests to ensure value for customers Build project teams for specific projects 3. Specification Identify and document customer requirements Identify data or delivery restrictions Identify solution to customer requirements Ensure appropriate people are involved in the project Agree pricing with Content Services 4. Prioritisation Liaise with customer to identify prioritisation relative to customer request list Liaise with Global Data Acquisition to identify contractual priorities 5. Manage Project Implementation Identify solution Secure appropriate resources Implement solution Ensures agreed customer requirements are met Post implementation review with customer Can and/or works independently Post holder will have a lot of contact with (internal clients i.e. product people) Find out customer requirements Manage standard documentation and data Manage to deliver data and project from start to finish Posses very strong project management and communication skills, There will be a constant flow of projects with very strict deadline therefore the candidate will have to posses strong time management skills and multi-tasking of projects Will need to be able to work closely with the Securities Editor in terms of obtaining data expertise, and work with people in charge of data delivery mechanisms. |
