Job Description A vacancy has arisen within European Equity Research Main duties include: ~ Client and in-house telephone liaison message taking ~ Diary management including internal/external meetings ~ Organising travel schedule (flights, hotels, currency, etc. ~ Reconciliation of travel and expense claims and monthly AMEX statements ~ Creation of presentations in Powerpoint ~ Creation of charts and formatting of reports using a Word template ~ Management of Client Databases ~ Updating email lists ~ Maintenance of Monthly Activity Data report ~ Creation and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets used for reports and collation of relevant data using excel ~ Photocopying and faxing ~ General ad hoc duties Equity Research actively encourages all assistants to get more involved in their work/development. In return you will be given training and support, and also the opportunity to take on non admin projects. Qualifications ~ Strong PC skills(proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint; knowledge of Lotus Notes preferred) ~ Knowledge of general office procedures (e.g., filing, correspondence, arranging meetings) ~ Effective interpersonal skills ~ Superior oral and written communication skills ~ Excellent telephone manner ~ Advanced ability to organise and manage own time This particular role is a high percentage administrative role, however, we are looking for strong formatting (Word) and presentation skills (Powerpoint). Personality and soft skills will be key, we are looking for a strong, pro-active team player that can balance 3 extremely busysenior analysts. Strong organisational skills is a definite must. ***** |
