OUR CLIENT A PRESTIGIOUS PRIVATE BANK BASED IN THE WEST END ARE NOW SEEKING A NEW ADDITION TO THEIR MARKETING DIVISION FOLLOWING INTERNAL PROMOTION. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE THE RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN MARKETING IDEALLY GAINED WITHIN BANKING OR FINANCIAL ARENA. SALARY £23-28,000 INCLUSIVE OF GUARTANTEED BONUS + BENS.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

The production of marketing literature including Fund Fact Sheets and related Presentations and Presentations for all account services as well as the preparation of a Market Comment on a weekly basis.

Contribution of ideas on the content of above, identifying the need for additional literature.

Maintaining knowledge base of the Banks services and disseminating information throughout the Bank as required.

Liasing with PR company and collaborating with them on producing press releases and other PR and marketing material.

Monitoring the Banks media coverage.

Maintenance of the Intranet and development of the Banks web-site.

Liaise with Compliance department for purposes of signing off all marketing documentation.

Various ad-hoc tasks within the marketing department's remit e.g. organising events and conferences.

Filing and Database maintenance.

To adhere to, and maintain knowledge of, all applicable legislation, including relevant parts of the FSA Handbook.

Maintaining and following procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

2 years experience working in a bank/financial institution

Organised and ability to prioritise

Demonstrated ability to write reports (5% of role)

Ability to present and convey information in a clear and concise way

IT literate (esp. Excel, PowerPoint and Word and ideally FrontPage)

Knowledge of Web and Print industry and IT interface with both

Ability to proof read.
