Our client is a leading online publisher focused upon delivering exciting web. They are looking to recruit a Media Sales Executive.

Are you ambitious, self motivated, passionate about sales, keen to grow an online business and a friendly team player? Are you looking for a new opportunity to make your own and want to work in an online media group that employs motivated people?

This role will ideally suit someone who is either new to sales, has an active interest in new online media or someone who is currently working in a sales environment and would like to work for a fast growing online business.

This is a sales role that focuses upon account managing existing UK clients and generating new online advertising sales from organisations offering franchising opportunities. This sales pipeline is already in place so you need to be a “closer” and you will be remunerated as such.

Our clients are ‘Franchisors’, such as Prontaprint, McDonalds, YourMove and a further 1,000 organisations, seeking ‘Franchisees’ for their ‘Franchise’ concept.

Other responsibilities include:

- Driving further sales opportunities from existing clients.
- Devising and implementing new sales strategies to increase new business revenue
- Working with third party advertisers, such as Finance Providers, Franchise Consultants & Franchise Intermediaries.
- Invoice management and credit control.
- Undertaking the delivery of a new bi-annual franchise opportunity magazine.
- Customer enquiry management.
- Undertaking “special projects” within the realm of sales and marketing

The successful applicant will be open, friendly, self-motivated, sales-driven, a good communicator, smart, hungry, approachable and intellectual with a good sense of fun. A high quality sales individual and account manager with good inter-personal, numeric, written and speaking skills, you will probably be degree educated (or equivalent), whilst sales or marketing qualifications are desired. With experience of sales, online media, account management, networking, delivering on results, and exceeding expectation, you will also ideally have experience in franchising and the franchise industry though this is not essential.

You will be working for the Head of the company who runs the website, manages top-tier UK and international franchisor client relationships. You will be a key member within this growing sales team. The successful candidate will also work closely with the company’s web designers to keep the look, feel and integrity of the company at the forefront of both the franchising community and within the online entrepreneur marketplace.
