| The position would ideally suit a recent graduate looking to embark on a career in new media marketing.
AdvancePositions.com, an Ogilvy company, require an Online Media Analyst to run pay for performance search engine marketing campaigns for their clients using the major pay per click engines including Overture, Espotting and Google. Reporting to the Operations Director, the role will involve planning and buying pay per click campaigns, selecting relevant search terms, writing persuasive ad copy, liaison with clients and media owners, campaign optimisation and the production and analysis of campaign activity reports. Skills required: Prior experience of pay per click and/or search engine optimisation is desirable but not required, however the ideal candidate will demonstrate the following attributes: * Educated to degree level, ideally in a relevant field. * Good knowledge of and interest in the internet and search engines. * Analytical approach. * Persuasive copywriter. * Works well with clients and suppliers. * Expert user of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. * Good attention to detail. * Numerate. * Conscientious and hard working. * Able to multi-task, organise, prioritise and structure workload. * High energy. * Team player. * Good communicator. |
