| This is a senior level administrative role in a dynamic award winning organisation involved in the planning and implementation of field sales and marketing campaigns taking place in stores throughout the UK. The role calls for someone with fantastic organisational ability and excellent interpersonal skills, able to analyse and assimilate information received from several different sources. Since there are always numerous demonstrations taking place you must be able to focus on more than one thing at a time.
This role involves managing the process between the Account handlers who design the campaigns and the Field Managers and Demonstrators who carry them out. This includes planning, prioritising and processing venue and personnel bookings across the UK to agreed deadlines, taking into account a range of criteria including the ordering of uniforms, hardware and point of sale material. You will need to analyse and assimilate information from different sources and use this to continuously improve the service. Play an active role at weekly management meetings. An in depth understanding of their bespoke computer system that is used to manage the booking process is essential. Therefore you should be computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Office packages, in particular Excel spreadsheets, and be able to train quickly on new systems. The position has tremendous scope to grow and is a very exciting opportunity for someone who has the ambition and ability, drive and determination to manage and challenge existing systems with a view to making improvements and simplifications. Previous task or project management experience is an advantage but not essential for someone with the right attitude who is able to hit the ground running. A knowledge of UK geography is another advantage plus the ability to interact with Account Handlers, Field Managers and Staff positively and proactively. This is an admin management role within a marketing environment. Marketing experience is not needed. |
