London £40,000 - £60,000 plus bonus A respected adviser to the energy industry for over 30 years needs a Client Account Manager. They combine experience with industry knowledge to provide clients with valuable analysis and unique insights. As Client Account Manager you will maintain and develop existing client relationships as well as significantly grow revenue through sales of research products, multi client studies and consulting services. Your main responsibilities as Client Account Manager will be to: * Maximise sales and profitability of energy offerings * Ensure that client interactions are coordinated across sales and account management, client services, training, research and consultancy * Develop sales leads through gaining a deep understanding of client requirements; proactively gain feedback on company products in order to continuously develop products in accordance with client needs * Proactively identify and understand each client’s needs to ensure successful closure and delivery The Sales Account Manager will be educated to bachelors level and have some experience in a related client facing or sales role. Knowledge of the Gas and Power industry is essential as are as proven client facing and sales experiences. The successful candidate will possess strong business development and negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset. You must be a friendly and professional person, trusted by clients and your colleagues and driven to succeed. Communications skills are paramount, as is the ability to deal with people at all levels within an organisation. You must be able to manage your time effectively, making sure you keep up to date whilst building strong customer relationships. French and German language skills would be preferred.
