London £40,000 - £60,000 plus bonus Our client, a respected advisor to the energy industry for over 30 years, needs a Sales Account Manager. Reputable for combining experience with industry knowledge, they provide clients with valuable analysis and unique insights. As Sales Account Manager you will demonstrate sales experience in the European Gas and/or Power sector, having worked with Utility or Power Generation companies. Knowledge of the Gas and Power industry is essential as is a proven client facing ability and previous sales experience. As Sales Account Manager you will maintain and develop existing client relationships as well as significantly grow revenue through sales of research products, multi client studies and consulting services. Your main responsibilities as Sales Account Manager will be to: * Maximise sales and profitability of energy offerings * Ensure that client interactions are coordinated across sales and account management, client services, training, research and consultancy * Develop sales leads through gaining a deep understanding of client requirements; proactively gain feedback on company products in order to continuously develop products in accordance with client needs * Proactively identify and understand each client’s needs to ensure successful closure and delivery The Sales Account Manager will be educated to Bachelors level and have experience in a related client facing or sales role. The successful candidate will possess strong business development and negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset. French and German language skills would be preferred.
