Our client is a rapidly growing force offering niche Business Intelligence / OSS Solutions which help mobile operators’ worldwide to stay competitive and achieve greater customer service and visibility of their network infrastructure, performance and status.

They are about to enter a growth phase which is a confirmation of their long-term vision and strategy of becoming a global leader within their field of expertise. Due to increased demand from mobile operators across EMEA and with a unique proposition, they are now looking to expand the team and recruit a new EMEA Regional Sales Director. This is a start up opportunity, profitable and privately held company.

Based in the UK, as a Sales Director you will spend significant time with customers and driving the sales process internationally. You will deliver the revenue objectives by developing and executing on sales strategies and processes within agreed target customers. These include developing new business with Mobile Operators in EMEA and manage existing relationships where appropriate.

Within the role, as the Sales Director your main accountabilities will be to:

- Deliver the revenue objectives, quarterly and annually as set by the CEO
- Identify, qualify, progress and close new opportunities
- Build/maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
- Contribute to overall Company Sales Strategy
- Assist in leading final contract negotiations with the customer
- Provide leadership and industry knowledge to customers/prospects, and maintain an appropriate corporate presence in industry-related public conferences and tradeshows
- Utilise marketing to turn Client suspects into qualified prospects that ‘demand’ solutions from Partners and support the collaborative sales process through to close
- Develop and implement joint business plans to deliver agreed commercial objectives.
- Provide structured feedback to product, marketing and technical teams concerning partner issues, needs and priorities relevant to their products and services

Essential to your success as the Sales Director you must have a demonstrable and successful track record of achieving revenue objectives through personal effort. You will also demonstrate success in working with medium value complex solution sales to major Mobile Operators.

To excel as the Sales Director you must have the following knowledge and experience:

- Significant high level sales experience showing clear career progression
- Recent and tangible knowledge and experience in OSS or Engineering software, and the direction of this market place
- A consistent track record of achieving sales objectives through demonstrated planning and forecasting skills
- Demonstrated business creativity and ability to implement new business models
- Multi-country sales experience within EMEA
- Ability to travel extensively and spend significant portions of time away from base
- Self starter mentality with a consultative and solutions oriented way of influencing the mindset of customers
- Builds sustained customer relationships based on trust and delivery of commitments
- Able to contribute constructively to company planning and prioritisation
- Credible up to and including C-level in enterprises and channels
- Effective in working in matrix teams sharing resources
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
