Our Client is Europe's leading publisher, retailer and distributor of products and services aimed at the gay and lesbian market. They have an exciting new position as a Sales Executive due to the company’s growing online presence which sits alongside its traditional publishing portfolio including titles such as The Pink Paper, Gay Times and DIVA. As the Sales Executive you will be responsible for generating new advertising revenue for their online services in line with agreed targets. You will advocate the benefits of digital media advertising within the team and to external customers. The Sales Executive will: - develop new revenue streams through online, digital and telephonic media advertising - build and maintain effective relationships with new customers - train and educate the existing sales team in new media sales techniques - prospect, canvass and present advertising sales opportunities directly to clients and advertising agencies - develop new online advertising sales initiatives for creative on-line ad sales opportunities - initiate procedures to enable the development of pay per click and message per unit schemes - help to implement new online booking systems. Keeping abreast of issues and trends concerning digital media and its technologies, you will advise colleagues on trends and changes within the market with an enthusiasm that will engage and motivate the team. Essential to your success as the Sales Executive you will possess demonstrable experience in a new media advertising environment. You will also have a solid understanding of sales and online advertising. Target driven, you will be enthusiastic and enjoy working in a team based environment. You will have a proven track record of winning and the ability to form solid business relationships with customers.
