Their Business Development Media Team is dedicated to providing flexible communications solutions to organisations throughout the Media Sector. Solutions are likely to revolve around convergence, the advantages offered by the use of Next Generation Networks and the outsourcing of networks. The role … As a Business Development Manager your main focus will be seeking and converting new business opportunities, through cold calling and prospecting where you will have a talent for being able to recognise, real business opportunity. In previous roles you will have sold a minimum of £500k and above contracts to corporate customers. Ideally, you should have and be able to demonstrate, success in providing network solutions to businesses within the media sector. However, we will consider individuals who can demonstrate new business success in other sectors. What you’ll need … * The ability to achieve individual sales target and over achieve financial and non-financial key business objectives set by the company. * Demonstrable success in Telecoms/ISP sales. * Proven experience around the preparation, qualification, maintenance and ownership of all new business plans for nominated accounts. * Accurate forecasting for opportunities by pipeline and revenue figures on nominated accounts through the use of CRM System. * To understand and keep regularly updated on current product and service offerings and contribute to the development / integration of these products to their customers. * To carry out effective internal business relations at appropriate levels to facilitate the achievement of financial and non-financial goals for the company. * A proven ability in new business sales skills i.e. identifying where the company can add value to a customer or prospect’s business strategy, and the communication and implementation of a tailored value proposition * Empathy, persuasive, adaptable, and committed with the will to win. * A good team player requiring minimum supervision and flexible enough to work form various offices and away from home on occasions.
