Central London NW1 £35,000 basic + OTE £65,000 + Car Allowance An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Software Account Manager / Channel Manager. Our client is a dynamic, fast growing; central London based company which has quickly emerged as a leader in developing intuitive software utilities that enhance the work with the Microsoft Servers family. Their leading product is SQL Manage which is your automatic DBA for easy, effective and intuitive management of MS SQL Servers. SQL Manage performs maintenance, administration, prevents failures, system acceleration and full and differential backups of SQL databases. Our client provides its users with the highest quality professional support by local representatives who understand their specific needs through its international network of authorised reseller partners. Our client is a "Microsoft Gold Certified Partner" and "ISV Certified" who works closely with Microsoft to insure the best results. They are now seeking goal orientated individuals, who can contribute and support the level of growth they are anticipating in the next year. They are looking for a professional, high motivated and self driven Software Sales Account Manager with a wide range of experience and knowledge in selling within the software industry. The role will be heavily based around creation and management of a new reseller's channel for our client’s product and will work closely with the product's end users providing pre-sale support. This role would suit an enthusiastic and well presented sales person with a proven track record of over-achieving on targets on a consistent basis. The Software Sales Account Manager should be a highly motivated individual, with good written skills, well spoken and should have the ability to talk to clients with ease. The role involves making professional and effective telephone calls to prospect business customers, to identify leads and decision makers, so the candidate will have experience with and be comfortable making volume cold calls to senior business decision makers. Existing customers/resellers accounts and/or experience with sales in a multiple distribution channel business would be an advantage. As the Software Sales Account Manager you will possess the following skills, experience and competencies: - A university degree (or equivalent) B.A Business management (advantageous) - Oral and written communication skills (English) - Independent initiative: High level of responsibility and self management - Working knowledge of Microsoft office products - Teamwork - Knowledge of basic computers skills Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK. The role is offering a basic salary of £35,000 depending on experience, + £30,000 O.T.E and Car allowance.
