| This organisation is responsible for marketing the wide variety of training courses provided by UK Universities and Colleges that are available on-line to students throughout the world. They are part of a government-sponsored initiative to help the UK higher education providers to gain a larger share of the adult education market. You will join a small team giving advice and assistance to prospective students. You will help them with course content and give advice on suitability and what is available. You will also be making out going calls to leads from people who have already expressed an interest. You should be experienced with telephone work preferably in a professional sales environment. Experience or knowledge of the adult education market is an advantage but not essential. While dealing with each enquiry honestly and professionally you should also be able to build on sales potential in an enquiry, identify needs and match these to product features. You should have a good academic background and the ability to learn about the wide variety of products offered by the organisations that this company represents. You should have excellent communication skills, computer literacy with the ability to generate reports. There is considerable scope for career progression in both the marketing and sales divisions, nationally and internationally.
