World leader management consultancy require an experienced Account Manager.

Clients multi-disciplinary teams work closely with their clients to help them understand the challenges ahead and the implications of change, including developing a proactive approach to predicting future developments in the marketplace and how they will affect existing operations.

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a Tier 1 account. They will focus upon the development of opportunities within the account to maximise the revenues for the firm.

Requirements

Background

Should have a broad range of Telco and Mobile sub-sector experiences, ideally with consultancy and/or systems integrator experience
Evidence of success working at Executive level
Experience in consultative/relationship sales
Sold and managed mulit-million projects
Track record of delivery through building and managing multiple cross functional teams within equally demanding business units operating within a highly competitive customer orientated business
Responsibilities


To deliver the annual sales target set for the respective account
Identify, develop and close all sales opportunities within the designated account
Develop rapport and a close working relationships within the account at a senior level
Engage with alliance partners to identify and develop client opportunities
The Individual


A high degree of personal credibility and gravitas is essential
Highly successful, seasoned sales manager/director
Large account management experience
Experience in selling and maintaining relationships at the executive office level ie CEO, CFO, CIO
Experience in selling large complex, multi-million pound projects
Experience must include the ability to find, develop and close new business opportunities
Exceptional relationship development skills
Able to listen and communicate openly and honestly
