Sales and Marketing - Marketing Assistant

in London West End

This is the ideal role for a bright Graduate with excellent secretarial / admin skills and some strong office experience.

INTEREST IN MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS ESSENTIAL *


To assist the national communications team and give PA/secretarial support to the National Director of Communications.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- General administrative duties such as distributing post, copy typing, arranging meetings, taking minutes, managing stationery supplies and answering telephone enquiries
- Proof-reading, adhering to approved style guidelines and liaising with the internal print room and external suppliers
- Ordering and researching promotional items by liasing with various suppliers
- Events support
- Liasing with senior members of staff
- Invoice processing
- Ad hoc administration projects and mailshots and drafting basic documents
- General office administration including filing, photocopying, stationery ordering
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Academic qualifications:
- At least A-Level standard but preferably degree level(Or Equivalent)
Relevant work experience:
- 1-2 years in Marcomms environment
- Professional services experience is desirable but not essential
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
Personal attributes:
- An experienced administrator, with an interest in communications
- A team player who works well under pressure and has the ability to use own initiative and at times work autonomously
- Has a good sense of humour
- Good written and verbal skills and an eye for detail
- Must be able to manage varied tasks and deadlines
IT Skills:
- Competent in computer packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Must be proficient in mail merge
