4 Years marketing experience CIM Qualified Extensive Database management skills PC,WP literate --- Marketing Administrator Key Attributes: A broad knowledge of the Financial Services industry and the key challenges it faces in the near future An appreciation of the role of consultants in the Financial Services industry Inquisitive and challenging Enthusiastic team player Confident and mature when liaising with all staff Self managed/ self motivated Education: Graduate CIM or relevant professional Marketing qualification Experience: Minimum 4 years marketing experience Desirable: Understanding of the Financial Services market place in a professional services environment Skills: Excellent administrative skills - lots of administration will be undertaken Project management skills with the ability to manage a diverse range of projects often to tight deadlines Research and analytical capabilities Strong report writing and presentation skills Interested in the Internet as a marketing tool Computer literate with experience of working with databases and handling and using data Attention to detail Excellent time management and organisational skills IT Skills: Must have proven skills in: Power Point Excel Access and Databases Word Key Responsibilities: Marketing Planning and Delivery Supporting the Sales & Marketing Director and the Sales Executive and the Marketing Operation Team on the creation of the strategic and operation plans for the growth and use of Marketing in line with the core strategic aims of the business - (approximately 20% of time will be on general planning) Membership of the Sales Executive and the Marketing Operation Team, attending all meetings and doing appropriate administration (minutes of meetings, pipeline updates, client file updates, reviews, contract management - approximately 30% of time) Ongoing identification of Marketing needs and opportunities through the use of group and individual discussion forums (Marketing Operating Team, Communications meetings, 1:1’s, EMF meetings etc) Responsible for pipeline and reporting administration for the Marketing strategy Work closely with all staff to produce annual business plans, proposal documents for clients, print management, both indoor and outdoor advertising, sponsorship, visual identity and branding Collate and prepare basic company information using a variety of on-line sources (e.g. on-line company databases, press archive databases, company websites, Financial Services service providers websites), internal data (i.e. client billing and contact data) and other published material for company profiles - (approximately 20% of time) Responsible for client data building, using external sources to improve data held internally To run regular searches on on-line press archive databases to track company information To keep records of company data produced, in particular client credentials Manage the Skills CV database for all staff Monitor the progress and use of the Marketing function on an on-going basis. Event Management - 10% of time To managing and implement all internal and external events, including seminars, corporate hospitality activities, presentations to clients and contacts, drinks receptions and other Business Development initiatives. To produce all relevant documentation for in house events Managing direct mail campaigns To design and produce Brochures Information Management - 10% of time Own marketing information on the website and proactively investigate interactive technology development Responsible for market research/competitor analysis Responsible for the central contact database Manage the process for dealing with leavers contacts Form external networks both informal and formal with external bodies (e.g. industry players/specialists, regulatory figures, clients, trade press etc) Ad hoc 10% of the candidate’s time will be spent on ad hoc projects/tasks.
