Central London EC1 £18,000 - £22,000 DOE + Pension and Health Insurance (after 3 months) Established in *****, our client has become one of the leading global manufacturers of office seating and ergonomic products, and is widely recognised for its innovative and unique designs which have won worldwide recognition. Due to continuous expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Marketing Assistant / Junior Marketing Executive to help promote and grow the business within their International remit. This is a brilliant opportunity to develop your abilities and to further your marketing career. Working alongside the marketing manager, this diverse role will cover the production of promotional material, direct marketing, trade shows, copywriting and developing new on-line initiatives to promote the brand. As the Marketing Assistant / Junior Marketing Executive your responsibilities will include: - Establishing and monitoring all presentation materials to ensure company standards - Writing press releases and creating company newsletter/announcements - Creating company brochures and other marketing materials - Coordinating and developing the company’s International trade shows/events Additionally, you will also work in conjunction with the US marketing team to ensure the company website is fresh and relevant to the International market, and you will liaise with the marketing manager to develop projects - taking the initiative to come up with innovative ideas and solutions. To succeed as the Marketing Assistant / Junior Marketing Executive ideally you will have previous experience in marketing, PR or design. With your enthusiasm to demonstrate your creative writing skills, you will have strong communication skills, with the ability to write well and work to deadlines. A quick learner, with loads of energy and enthusiasm, you will be a creative individual who is able to work from set briefs. You will also be proficient in MS Office, Photoshop and QuarkXPress. Although not essential, any experience of Dreamweaver, HTML, Illustrator, and InDesign, or an interest in design, architecture and interiors would be desirable to our client.
