The job holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Marketing and to the Innovation Centre. Working with and being an integral part of the Marketing team, the job holder will help implement marketing initiatives that fulfil the agreed marketing objectives and strategy.
The successful candidate will have a desire for varied work and will enjoy working with a number of individuals in the team supporting a variety of tasks. Flexibility to work, occasional overtime and the ability to be proactive and work on own initiative is a vital part of this role.

The Responsibilities
Please find below a list of the key responsibilities for this role:

Collate, format and distribute internal technical newsletters and marketing materials
Maintain (email and fax) distribution lists for internal and external newsletters
Maintain and continually develop the client and contact database
Handle incoming telephone calls from senior staff including internal and external clients, in accordance with policy
Maintain each team member's diary and keep track of their whereabouts on a day to day basis. Organise internal and external meetings/conferences/functions including travel, accommodation, itineraries, expense claims, equipment and catering
Produce high standard audio and copy typing often to tight deadline. Draft replies to incoming correspondence
Help maintain and update London office marketing materials
Provide administrative assistance for marketing seminars, events (and some corporate hospitality)
Maintain internal microweb site, technical, marketing and sales materials. Handle internet queries in a timely manner
Attend to other ad-hoc tasks as directed by his/her line manager


The Individual
You will need the following qualifications, skills and experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years experience working as a senior secretary in a proactive environment, preferably professional services orientated
5 GCSEs or equivalent grade A-C including English and Maths or equivalent
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications (ie, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
Accurate audio/copy typing at 55+ wpm
Adobe Acrobat writer highly desirable
Internet software skills desirable
