Responsible to: Tax Learning admin team
Main responsibility:
Responsible for administration of specific *****course areas
*****- Provide general administrative support to the Tax *****Learning Team

The Tax Learning Team is responsible for all aspects of providing Tax Technical Training and Learning and Development opportunities to the UK Tax practice, which comprises approx. *****staff
Training Courses:

l Schedule training courses
l Gather and input nominations and maintain Tax Learning Database
l Send joining instructions and pre-course work.
l Send venue requirements and accommodation lists
l Maintain and update master copies of materials and resource lists for courses
l Co-ordinate and prepare course materials and resources, ensuring prompt delivery to and from training venues.

l Provide on-site administration for national courses where required.

General Support:

l Make travel arrangements.
l Type manuals
l Assist with administration and preparation for annual conference.
l All other general administrative duties as required by the Tax Learning team
l Administration support for ad-hoc team projects

Skills/Personal Attributes:

Essential:

l Minimum GCSE grade B in Mathematics and English.
l Good knowledge / experience of Microsoft Office.
l Excellent communication skills.
l Good organisational skills.
l Attention to detail.
l Ability and willingness to work effectively as part of a team.
l Some UK travel involved

Desirable:
l 6 an– 12 months previous administration experience
l Experience in time management and prioritisation of workload.
l Feedback skills.
l Enjoy a varied workload

This position would suit a motivated individual who is looking to be involved in a wide range of administrative tasks within a busy and fast-paced training department. Likely second jobber with min 6m an– 1yr work experience. There will be considerable scope to become more involved in the organisation of events, deal with venues and liaise with Tax Practice staff at all levels.
