| City-based, Chartered Accountants are looking for a capable Secretary/Administrator to enhance the smooth running of their Personnel and Training department.
This is a role for a real multi-tasker - someone with an eye for detail and bundles of initiative, who can organise in their sleep! There are a range of duties for you to get your teeth in to but most of all you will need to make sure that this fun, lively team of four are on top of the game. Responsible for accuracy of information held on the computerised system, you will be updating all employee information - from new starters to finishers - monitoring sickness and holidays, altering personal details and checking timesheets against official documentation. Where necessary, you will be chasing the appropriate paperwork and alerting the Personnel Manager of problems. In addition, you will be providing secretarial and administrative support to the Personnel Manager, including all confidential typing (such as salaries review, legal agreements, disciplinary letters), distributing relevant material and ensuring that all information is appropriately recorded and filed. You: Personable, approachable and discreet - this is an open and fun environment but you will be handling sensitive information so knowing what not to say is vital - a pro-active and forward thinking individual someone who will look for work and get it done. Fully conversant with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and a typing speed of 40wpm +, you are PA/Secretary material but haven’t necessarily had loads of experience. Salary £18,000 + Benefits.
