To provide secretarial and administrative support to a Director and team.

Main Duties

1. Audio typing including detailed reports, faxes, memos, proposals an– approximately 40% of the role
2. Prioritising post and E mails
3. Drafting correspondence on behalf of Director and team
4. Arranging travel
5. Client liaison
6. Organising client entertainment
7. Discreet handling of sensitive and confidential information.
8. Taking a proactive approach and using initiative when making routine decisions.
9. Providing information on routine matters and dealing with routine affairs.
10. General office duties including archiving and filing
11. Extensive telephone liaison with internal and external clients
12. Diary management including arranging both internal and external meetings.
13. Fee Forecasting

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will be an experienced secretary who enjoys the challenge of working for a dynamic and busy team.

He/she will have the following skills/qualities
and# *****; Excellent typing skills. Minimum 60-70 wpm an– efficiency, accuracy and presentation of utmost importance.

and# *****; A flexible approach to work
and# *****; Must be a team player
and# *****; Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
and# *****; Proven organisational skills.
and# *****; An excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills to deal with a wide variety of people and clients. The candidates must demonstrate the ability to establish good relationships with both clients and team members.

and# *****; A demonstrated mature attitude and the ability to work on their own initiative/think ahead of the game
