| This is a fantastic Temp to Perm opportunity for an Executive Level PA with fluent French to join this prestigious Investment House in the City. You'll be working for the CEO where you must be able to converse extensively with clients & make business decisions on behalf of the CEO.
The CEO is in his early 40's. He has 9 direct reports & can be very demanding. The successful applicant will need to be calm under pressure & able to multitask. Diary management is a key part of this role as well as international travel. Key Responsibilities: · Extensive diary management · Worldwide travel arrangements, visas, flights, accommodation, itineraries · Preparation of general correspondence/emails · Coordinating internal/external meetings · Reconciling expenses · Shorthand useful · Filing Personal Attributes: · Confident "can-do" attitude · Stays calm under pressure · Strict confidentiality / trustworthy · Ability to work unsupervised / autonomously · Confident using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) · Previous experience with minute taking · Familiar with Internet resources and usage · Commendable time and organisational management skills · Fast learner with the ability to become skilled at new responsibilities quickly · Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, both in English and French. · Sense of humour. Attainments: · Fluent in French, verbal and written business/corporate level. · Minimum 5 GCSE's including Math's and English Grade C and Above (A Level standard Preferred) · Previous experience of working with a Senior Manager · Minimum 3 years city PA experience SALARY AND BENEFITS: Salary will be dependant on experience, but circa £(30,000) - £(35,000) pa. On joining 22 working days holiday per annum Long Term Disability Insurance 4 x salary Life Assurance After Probation (6 months) Interest free loan for Season Ticket and for membership of Holmes Place Sports Club (the Company also gives £20.00 per months subsidy subject to certain criteria) BUPA Health Cover, to include Spouse and children up to a certain age. 10% non-contributory pension scheme (from the age of 23) Qualifications Must be experienced in supporting senior management and have previous experience of senior level co-ordination At least five years of secretarial experience and meeting coordination. Strong PC skills (proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of Lotus Notes preferred) Knowledge of general office procedures (e.g., filing, correspondence, arranging meetings) Highly numerate Effective interpersonal skills Superior oral and written communication skills Excellent telephone manner Advanced ability to organise and manage own time Tact and good judgement in confidential situations and the ability to interact with senior management French essential |
