| A famous media and entertainment company with offices in Southampton are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to support the Company Secretary and the SVP of Corporate Affairs.
The suitable candidate should have a minimum of two years legal experience, be able to type at 75wpm and have strong computer skills. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior level Secretary to utlise and develop all of their skills, in a dynamic and creative environment. Providing professional PA, Secretarial and Administrative support. Main duties of the position § taking and producing minutes of various senior management meetings (including Board level meetings) § diary management § arranging travel § processing expenses § taking/passing accurate messages § audio and copy typing correspondence, file notes etc § photocopying and packaging legal and other documents § providing support to Administration Manager and Company Secretary/SVP Corporate Affairs in relation to company secretarial administrative duties PERSON SPECIFICATION Skills regular user of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, email (Lotus Notes), internet, Lotus Organiser accurate typing of 75 wpm minute taking skills Experience legal secretarial experience minimum 2 years minute taking experience in house, corporate law or commercial/company secretarial experience experience of taking and producing Board and other senior management meeting minutes Education/Qualifications good secondary education including Maths and English GCSE A level education secretarial qualifications (e.g. RSAs) Innate Abilities quick to learnclear communicator organisedcalm/unflappable personable team player flexible accuracy eye for detail Attitude positive, “can do” approachsense of humour |
